This recipe is courtesy of the lovely Ina Garten and is updated with a few twists of my own. I must warn you however, that this drink is so delicious that it will be impossible to only enjoy one drink!
Whiskey Sour
3/4 cup whiskey
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4 limes)
2/3 cup simple syrup
2 freshly squeezed clementines
crushed ice
maraschino cherries
Combine juices, whiskey, and syrup. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and pour in the drink mix to 2/3 full. Shake for 15 seconds and pour over crushed ice in a glass. Add a maraschino cherry for garnish.
* To make the simple syrup, bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a boil and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Chill before using.

Cheers! Deb
Mmm, Ina can do no wrong. Whisky sours used to be my drink of choice when we went to Keeneland's spring meet. Yum!
