Welcome to my little world- I am thrilled that you are here. My most sincere hope is that this little blog is a source of laughter, inspiration and some seriously fabulous food (even if it is vegan!). Is it possible to maintain a vegetarian lifestyle below the Mason Dixon line? Come along with me and find out as I pound the pavement, travel and eat my way through life. Cheers!

Call me old fashioned but I am just a girl who loves her planner. No matter how I try, I simply cannot get into using the calender feature on my blackberry or organizer on my computer. I am a hand held planner kind of girl. Wherever I go, my planner is sure to follow. For the past few years, I have been quite into Kate Spade's lightweight planner, I like the pictures, the spaces work well for me and the size is perfect. For me, it is so much more than a date keeper, it is where I keep track of the details of life, write inspirational quotes and keep birthday information. It is completely full of yellow post-it notes and covered in highlighter marks. I like to use a cheerful polka dot ribbon to mark my week, it makes me smile.

I wish you a delightfully organized day!

I'm with you. I want a planner I can draw little notes in, put a sticker here and there and tie the whole thing up with some ribbon or a nice coloured band.

Outlook Calendars be banned!

Confession, I am just like you. I have had filofax and every fancy planner, but the one I like best is a slim thrifty spiral one, with a plastic coated front...I tie it too... I love it best.
I just cannot make the switch to on-line planning.
Glad to know I am not alone.

same here too, it's the tangible factor, as much as I love Outlook, I have to have a schedule that I'm able to hold and touch- I've got the kate spade one you featured above!

our lives would just fall apart w/o planners!

A lady after my own heart.. I've had a palm pilot, I currently have an iPhone and neither of those fancy shmancy technological diddies house ANY of my plans, appointments or crazy OCD lists! I just can't get into it! I much prefer the post its, the scribbles and the twelve dollar planner that I've been faithful to for years!

You are so right!! I love love love my Blackberry and am absolutely addicted to it, but not for calendar use. I have had my Kate Spade planner for at least a decade now, or so it seems. I need to write and sketch , I just love it!

I'm an old fashioned paper planner too...I have a red/pink KS that I adore :)

I do use my BB and work calendar as well, but the paper planner works best for me.

Really nothing better than a hand written planner to stay on top of things!

Yes, I like the look and feel of a good leather-bound planner. Although, with my Blackberry and Outlook calendar at work, I tend to use those so much more often, sad to say.

I need my paper! I love my scribbles and doodles and to cross out and write over and on top of and to cram all my agendas into these tiny little spaces! I also like to keep my planners and calenders. It's so fun to look back at them. They're like written photo albums, know what I mean?

I am exactly like you! I have a gorgeous black planner from Barnes and Noble that looks exactly like the second Kate Spade picture you have, except without the initial. Can't live without it!

So glad I stumbled upon your site!!! I'm definitely a planner girl too---last year was Kate Spade (the ad you used is an all time fav by the way) and this year I snatched up a fun orange and pink Coach planner from the outlet. Never been much of a Coach fan, but it's has a fabulous sixties print that I couldn't resist... Anyway, I get you.

I'm exactly like you. I love pen and paper too much. My hubby always tries to get me to use palm pilots, etc and I never end up doing it. There is just something about holding my day planner that makes me feel better.

I'm another Blackberry user that needs my planner. I'm a fan of the "MomAgenda" (www.momagenda.com). They offer it in lots of fun colors and a few prints (my current one is orange!). Since they are for Moms the calendar follows a school year (August to the following August or longer). It comes with inspirational quotes for each month and each week!

I have to admit, this year I switched over from my paper planner to my iphone and the transition thus far has been smooth. In the chaos of getting four children out the door, I often left my planner behind but I always have my phone so it works for me!

I used to use the Mom Agenda, which is good for those with busy little ones...

You're a hostess after my diva heart... I too can't get use to my online calendar and have taken to drawing these elaborate calendars in my note book that have friends and family trying to determine if I'm a creative genius or absolutely nuts!!
